Question: I found a picture on the internet and I want to use it as my avatar but it says remote file too large. How can I fix this?

Answer: I myself used to have this problem but it wasn't long until I found this useful image hosting site. Just go to www.imageshack.us and choose the option to resize the image.

Question: I want to host a picture so I can use it for a sig/avatar but I dont know what to do?

Answer: I have had people ask me this before and it's actually quite simple. Just go to www.photobucket.com and create an account. Once you have done that then go to your album then voila your done. You can now host as many free images as you want for free.

Once you have hosted the image and want to use it for a sig just copy the [IMG] code and paste it into your sig. If you want to use an image you hosted as an avatar copy the [url] code and paste it under the url bar.

Question: What is flaming

Answer: Flaming is the equivilant of trash talking but on forums. Basically a bad post which doesn't contribute to a thread. Here is an example.

Matt: Hey check out my first sig .....
User: Thats horrible, just quit while your ahead loser.

Question: What is spam?

Answer: Stupid Pointless Annoying Message, Spam. It is basically posts that don't contribute to a thread. These posts are usually short. Usually members post spam to achieve a higher post count.

Forum Codes

Bold Text To make your text bold just type in this forum code, don't use put a period before the [/b], it's just an example:
[b]Type Your Message Here[/.B]

Italic Text The code for this text is [i] [/.I] Once again ignore the period when writing this code in a post or in your signature.

Underline The code for this text is [u] [/.U] Forget the period.

www.halorelated.com Im pretty sure that it does it automatically here but the code for this text is URL= [/.URL] Once again forget the period. Also the first part (url=) should be in brackets.

Halo Related The code for this is [url] [/.URL] Just enter the url of the site after the equals sign then type your text in the middle. Once again forget the period.
